Time is running out for voting, but there is still a chance to cast your ballot, to have a voice. At stake in this election are not only who will comprise the AMC, but also some serious proposed changes to the Mensa bylaws. Please find your ballot and vote. Ballots must be received by May 31.

Following is a special election section. We hope you will use it to consider the opinions and judgments of the candidates and use it to guide your voting. In this issue, we review contested races for RVC. Please see the last issue of GF for statements by Second Vice Chairman candidates.

If you have already voted, you can examine how the RVC candidates in other regions look at things, and get a good idea of how your next AMC will stand on membership issues. You might even want to call a friend and encourage him/her to vote.

Also on the ballot are several amendments to the Mensa bylaws. Included in this election section is an examination of proposed Amendment 6. For a discussion of proposed Amendment 5, please see "The Insult of Amendment 5" in the last issue of Going Forward.
